Mama: Well, that's just what dogs do. They poo in the grass.

Bubba: We should buy her a potty.

Long pause.

Bubba: She could flush it with her foot.

Who's to blame?

Today we went to my cousin's pool party. They just shut down the kid's pool as we arrived. I guess some kid had an accident (in his pants) while swimming. But we had a good time anyway after all they had chocolate cake and cool presents.

Tonight when Dad was putting Bubba to bed, Dad asked:
Did you have a good time at the party?

Bubba: Yeah! But we couldn't swim in the kid pool?

Dad: Yeah. Because it was closed.

(pause)

Bubba: (Uncle) Matt pooped in the pool?

Dad: No, it wasn't Uncle Matt, it was some other kid whom we don't know that had the accident.

Bubba: It was Uncle Brett.

Dad: (uncontrollable laughter)

1. One pair of puffy soccer ball slippers
2. One five iron from Dad's set of clubs
3. One soccer ball
4. Two strong arms
5. An unmatched competitive warrior attitude - like that of a 3 year old
6. One dog to referee

New Bed

A couple weeks ago I (the big brother) got a new bed. It's great because I fit just perfectly in the cabinet below the mattress. Sometimes Dad gives me a flashlight so I can read or play games under the bed. Gotta love it.

Message to my UBF

Dear Uncle Big Foot...

While Mom was on the Phone

During Mom's 15 minute survey with GEICO comparing auto insurance rates...

I snuck out of my room.
I snuck into Mom's room.
I got the bassinet and pulled it over to the dresser.
(Sissy wasn't in it.)
I climbed into the bassinet even though two of the wheels had fallen off.
I opened Dad's top drawer.
I took out his bottle of Gold Bond's Medicated Foot Powder.
I had some fun.

Mom caught me.
This is what her bed looked like.


And her floor. You can tell how much fun I was having running all over the place.





Then we had this conversation.

Mom: "Bubba! What are you doing?!"
"You are in trouble BIG TIME!"

Bubba: "Big time?"
Mom: "BIG time."

Pause.

Bubba: "I DON'T WANT BIG TIME! I WANT BABY TIME!"

Bubba: I LOVE Thomas the Tank Engine. And I love Lucy. I love to take Lucy to the 'tanical Gardens.
