Showing off on my Birfday

Here I am showing Grandpa Leland and Cousins Jacob and Noah the best way to get around!

Birfday Celebrating-Fun Day!

Finally, the day has arrived!
I'm a big kid now, but I still enjoy a ride now and then.

Here I am in my First Sugar-Daze Ever! This cake was yummy, and I know it didn't have a ton of sugar because I saw Mommy putting applesauce in it, but still, after playing with all my cousins, and eating my Very Own Piece, you can tell, I'm feeling tired.

Let me in the box! I want the box! My box!

Here I am with the contents of my Washington Gift Box. I wasn't sure what to think at first, but now I think these critters are great. I really like the froggie.

Birfday and Busy

Well, today is my Birfday. Mommy says not to worry because tomorrow we're having a celebrating-fun! I can't wait, because all my local cousins are coming. But, I still have to get through today.
A package came from Washington. Mommy said I wasn't allowed to open it until tomorrow, so I decided to work on my physique and get some pushups in.

It's my Birfday, but here's a gift for my kiddo fans out there. I call it, "Frow your Cwothes!" When you're done with your nap and you've had 'just about enuf' of your crib, start throwing things out onto the floor! Your blankie, your Nuk-Nuk, your sockies, and your clothes! I thought this trick up myself...and I'm convinced that it will keep Mommy from making me take a nap ever again!

Look at ME!

I want to thank MJ (so cute!) for my First Birthday Card Ever! That's a pretty special card! I love it. MJ, the card DOES taste good, thanks for thinking of me.

Just so MJ doesn't think I'm a lazy boy, sittin' around playing with toys all day, I asked Mommy to take a picture of me helping out.

Huggies!

I like to give huggies now. I just learned how! Here I am in one of my first hugs. Everybody seems to enjoy hugs from me. This is my Grandma Viola.

Sailin' the High Seas

It's official! Now that I'm almost One Years Old, I have my own drawer in the kitchen. Mommy hopes this will keep me out of all the other cupboards, but I did notice she moved all the bottles of soapies and stuff out from under the sink. Still, I'm excited about my new drawer. It's got cool gadgets in it. But I turn everything into drums and or drumsticks and cool stuff like that. I use my imaginatum. No baking for me! This LOOKS like a wooden stirring fork, but it's really a spear! I'm huntin' me some whale!

Here I am in my whaling ship. {Mommy says it's okay to pretend to be Captain Ahab...but I don't think she really wants me to actually sail the high seas for a living.}

Got Caught Red Handed

"But Mommy, I DO need all these Kleenex. The weightlifting is making me sweat!"

Got caught red-handed, folks. But once I pulled out one tissue, I just couldn't stop! It was awesome, dudes.

It's my Birfday!

It's my birfday in 2 weeks. I'm so excited! I am going to be one years old. For you kids, that means I am going to be one finger old. Please come to my party at 1pm. But I don't need any more toys or clothes...small gifts for my cowwege fund would be appreciatated, though.

Accomplishments Continued

Yesterday I crawled up on the Loveseat TWICE! When Mommy and Daddy found me, I was reading a magazine, comfy as you please!

I heard Mommy say something like, "When this kid starts walking for real, my life, as I know it, is over."
